One short form and your CV. It goes to the discipline lead you would work under, not into a shared inbox nobody owns.
First conversation
Half an hour with the person you would report to: what you have delivered, what you want next, and what the commission actually involves. Questions run in both directions.
Technical discussion
A working conversation with two seniors about real problems — a cost plan that moved, a programme that slipped, a variation nobody wanted to price. How you think matters more than what you can recite.
Offer and start
A written offer with the scope, the reporting line and your development plan in it. If chartership is your next step, you know who is mentoring you before you sign.
Every application gets an answer. If a role closes while you are part-way through, we tell you that rather than letting it go quiet.
